Rack 16. Rack 16 is your ideal companion when setting up microwave-based sample preparations to be conducted in your Multiwave 3000. This vessel rack has a total of 16 (2 x 8) holes compatible with all types of pressure vessels and liners. To avoid tilting of the rack, it is recommended that Rack 16 be loaded symmetrically for handling of rather heavy XQ80 quartz glass vessels. Rack 16 is made of polyethylene foam which is a non-abrasive, durable, yet lightweight material of excellent strength and resistance to chemicals, and therefore ideally suited for use in chemical laboratory environments.
