The lowest dispersion system for maximum peak capacity

Solve complex UPLC/UHPLC separation challenges with the ACQUITY UPLC Systems with 2D LC Technology, a family of systems and proven columns that offer the lowest dispersion for maximum peak capacity.

Waters 2D technology solutions for the ACQUITY UPLC M-Class System, ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS, and ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS are designed with the most reliable, highest performing solvent managers and valves on the market – for flexibility, accuracy, and precision of the entire assay.

  • Achieve successful 2D UPLC/UHPLC experiments faster, with less troubleshooting and more confidence with ready-to-use configurations
  • Attain best-in-class selectivity and sensitivity with the ACQUITY UPLC Systems and proven columns

Recommended Use: To increase analysis speed, improve sensitivity, selectivity, and perform accurate orthogonal separations.

Enhanced multidimensional UPLC capabilities

For chromatographers who require additional capabilities to increase their analysis speed, gain sensitivity, selectivity, and perform orthogonal separations, the ACQUITY UPLC systems are ideal. They meet all these needs by controlling multiple columns, valves, and pumps in various configurations.

The resolution, sensitivity, and throughput benefits of the UPLC technology are particularly more important in 2D LC applications. Waters 2D technology solutions for the ACQUITY UPLC M-Class System, ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS, and ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Systems are purpose-built, from plumbing to software to valve control, providing reproducible, and consistent results.

Purposefully designed for 2D LC

The ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager is specifically designed for 2D applications, with the capability to house two columns with different chemistries with independent temperature control for each column, providing versatility for orthogonal separations. The column manager comes standardized with easy-to-access, low-volume, active solvent pre-heaters, resulting in the same efficiency run-to-run, and system-to-system, and supports two 150 mm or four 50 mm length columns.
