LiChrosorb® RP-8 5 µm
Package Contents: 10 g Glass Bottle
LiChrosorb® is one of the most successful and reliable packing materials, used in HPLC for more than 25 years and
documented in the literature in the form of several thousand applications. The totally porous irregular particles are
finely graded in the 5, 7 and 10 μm range.
LiChrosorb® packing materials offer the compete program of non-polar derivatives (RP-8, RP-18, RP-select B) polar
derivatives (Si 60 and Si 100). In addition to the analytical cartridges and columns, such as LiChroCART® 250-4 or Hibar
® RT 250-4, Merck Millipore offers semi-preparative cartridges LiChroCART® 250-10 as well as Hibar® RT columns
250-10, packed on request with various LiChrosorb® packing materials.

Chromatographic residues: Aggressive, explosive (e.g. peroxides) or toxic substances in chromatographic layers or sorbents must be eliminated using suitable methods (washing out, elution) prior to disposal. The solvents used for elution can in many cases be reutilized. Larger quantities of sorbents (e.g. from columns) should be freed from solvents (filtration, drying) and packed into rip-resistant plastic sachets; container I. TLC carrier materials and columns should be disposed of together with the corresponding waste materials (aluminium, glass, plastic); container K.
