Field Service Engineer - LNI SWISSGAS Generators

Job Opportunity: Field Service Engineer (Gas Generators)

We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Gas Generator Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic Service & Support Team. This role will involve travel to client sites across the UK, with occasional assignments in other European countries.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting the UVISON/LNI SWISSGAS portfolio, along with third-party products. This includes ensuring that our customers’ installed systems remain in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, installations, training, and general customer support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests, ensuring all interactions are logged in the Service Management System (HubSpot).
  • Provide detailed and accurate service reports for all completed tasks.
  • Manage personal inventory of parts and conduct regular stock checks as required.
  • Continuously develop expertise in the complete product range.
  • Build strong relationships with Technical Support to ensure seamless communication and cooperation for all customer and product needs.
  • Lead complex installations involving third-party products.

About You

We’re seeking a skilled and methodical professional with a strong background in pressure systems and transportable gases. In addition to practical expertise, you’ll need:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • You should be comfortable with frequent and extensive travel.
  • A keen willingness to learn new skills.
  • The ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
