Please use the ODS-UG in the case of alkaline, the ODS-HG If the mobile phase is acidic. 
The holding is larger than ODS-UG · ODS-HG is ODS-MG, shows enough preserved in the mobile phase a lot of water, separation of highly polar compounds will also be possible.
