Flow-through Cover Kit for Pyris 1 DSC. The flow-through cover provides a short path for volatiles or decomposition products to exit from the Pyris 1 DSC sample holder. When the flow-through cover is installed, the sliding sample holder enclosure cover is displaced by the accessory. The flow-through cover should be used with samples that undergo decomposition, dehydration, or oxidation, especially if the thermal conductivity of the products of the reaction is different from that of the purge gas.
