Photoionization Detector (PID) Add-on Kit for PerkinElmer AutoSystem Series, 120V. The PerkinElmer PID is customarily used to detect aromatic and unsaturated compounds in drinking water, wastewater, and soil or sludge samples according to United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) procedures. PerkinElmer PID features include: -Universal or Selective. -Nondestructive. -Recommended for EPA Methods The PID utilizes a high-intensity ultraviolet light source to ionize the sample components eluting from the column in order to generate the chromatographic signal. The PID has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 250°C. The lamp can be replaced with a blanking disk to allow bake-out operation (up to 350°C). PID Add-on Kit includes detector, heater, sensor, makeup gas needle valve, and all necessary mounting hardware for installation on an AutoSystem series GC. Requires but does not include amplifier (N6120061) and lamp power supply (N6120062). Firmware revision 1.2 or greater is required. Firmware must be PerkinElmer Service installed. AutoSystem operator’s manual (09908559) is required if not revision C or higher.
