Elite-35 is 35% phenyl (methylpoysiloxane), whereas Elite-35ms is a low bleed specialty stationary phase (not hand-selected low bleed population of Elite- 35 columns). The Elite-35ms stationary phase was designed so that its retention index and polarity are closely matched to those of 35% phenyl. Chromatographers requiring a mid polarity column with low bleed could try it as a confirmation column or as a direct replacement for their current 35% phenyl column.
