Permits the use of hollow cathode lamps of smaller diameter than the PerkinElmer 2-inch diameter hollow cathode lamps used in PerkinElmer atomic absorption spectrometers. PerkinElmer Universal hollow cathode lamps (37mm) are suitable for most commercial atomic absorption instruments. Some of which are: Baird Atomic, Fisher Jarrell-Ash, GBC, Hitachi, Instrumentation Laboratory, Philips Analytical, Unicam, Scintrex, Shimadzu, Thermal Jarrell-Ash, Varian, and Zeiss.
