Shim-pack Scepter C8-120
Shimadzu Shim-pack Scepter C8-120 Preparative Column, 5µm, 120Å, 10mm x 250mm, 1/Pk
Part Number: 227-31107-02
Shim-pack Scepter columns consist of an organosilane hybrid particle for excellent stability and performance and reliable scaleup from a Scepter C8-120 analytical column. The C8 phase is a general-purpose column, less retentive than a C18, and suitable for a wide variety of applications and mobile phase conditions up to pH 12. USP L7, pore size: 120A, pH range: 1-12, max pressure: 45 MPa/450 bar/6,500 psi, carbon load: 17%, fully endcapped. Method development on an analytical Scepter C8-120 column is highly recommended before purchasing a prep column. Prep columns cannot be returned or exchanged once used. Use with prep guard cartridges 227-31143-01 and holder 227-31171-01 to prolong the life of the column. Similar to XBridge BEH C8, XTerra C8, Gemini C8.
