The bioinert Scepter column has a PEEK-lined stainless steel body with a high pressure polymer frit for a completely metal-free flowpath. The organosilane hybrid particle with C8 ligand is less retentive than a C18 and is suitable for a wide variety of applications and mobile phase conditions up to pH 12. PLS hardware eliminates adsorption and reduces tailing for compounds that tend to form chelates with metal surfaces, especially those containing phosphate groups. USP L7, pore size: 120A, pH range: 1-12, max pressure: 100 MPa/1000 bar/14,500 psi, carbon load: 17%, fully endcapped. Phase is similar to Acquity BEH C8; PLS hardware is unique.

Shim-pack Scepter (metal-free) is an inert column with a PEEK-lined stainless steel body designed for ultra-high-performance
analysis. All wetted surfaces including the column body and frit are metal-free.
