Shim-pack Scepter columns consist of an organosilane hybrid particle for excellent stability and performance. The diol ligand is recommended for the analysis of polar and hydrophilic compounds that have limited or no retention on alkyl phases like C8 and C18. Ideal for LCMS use since ion-pairing reagents are not required, and the high organic mobile phases result in efficient solvent evaporation for increased sensitivity. USP L20, pore size: 120A, pH range: 2-10, max pressure: 100 MPa/1000 bar/14,500 psi, 12% carbon load, non-endcapped. A guard column is recommended to prolong the analytical column lifetime. Similar to Acquity BEH HILIC.
