The bioinert Scepter column has a PEEK-lined stainless steel body with a high pressure polymer frit for a completely metal-free flowpath. The organosilane hybrid particle with high density C18 ligand provides increased retention and improved steric selectivity for isomers and structural analogs compared to traditional C18 phases, and is compatible with mobile phases up to pH 12. PLS hardware eliminates adsorption and reduces tailing for compounds that tend to form chelates with metal surfaces, especially those containing phosphate groups. USP L1, pore size: 80A, pH range: 1-12, max pressure: 100 MPa/1000 bar/14,500 psi, carbon load: 25%, fully endcapped. Phase is similar to Acquity BEH C18, PLS hardware is unique.

Shim-pack Scepter (metal-free) is an inert column with a PEEK-lined stainless steel body designed for ultra-high-performance
analysis. All wetted surfaces including the column body and frit are metal-free.
