Description

Upchurch Scientific brand inlet solvent filters are designed to provide the protection your system needs. It is good practice to filter solvents to prevent pump and other system component damage.

Note: If you are performing helium sparging for solvent degassing, we generally recommend using 2µm porosity filters to disperse the sparging gas most efficiently. For inlet solvent filtering, we generally recommend the use of 10µm to 20µm porosity filters, as these do an adequate job of filtering the mobile phase without causing pump cavitation. Additionally, we recommend that inlet solvent filters be replaced every six months to one year, depending upon the amount and type of solvent filtered, to ensure proper system performance.
