These Upchurch Scientific / IDEX Health & Science / Biotech Fluidics Barbed Y-Connectors have been engineered to effectively join three pieces of soft-walled tubing together in a Y configuration, offering less turbulence and more gentle mixing of fluids than a traditional Tee Connector. This type of connector works well for joining three peristaltic tubes with similar inner diameters together. They are manufactured from polypropylene and are packaged either individually or as 10-packs (as indicated).

Available in the Following Configurations:

  • P-862 - Barbed Y-Connector, for use with Soft-Walled Tubing, Polypropylene For 3.0 mm ID Tubing, Single pack
  • P-862C - Barbed Y-Connector, for use with Soft-Walled Tubing, Polypropylene For 3.0 mm ID Tubing, 100 per pack

Barbed Connectors

These Type 1 Barbed Unions have been engineered to effectively join two pieces of soft-walled tubing together. This type of connector is typically the connector of choice for joining two peristaltic tubes with similar inner diameters together. These unions are manufactured from either polypropylene or nylon.

Barbed “Y” Adapters

These Barbed “Y” Adapters, manufactured from polypropylene, are engineered to effectively join three pieces of soft-walled tubing together in a Y configuration, offering less turbulence and gentler mixing of fluids than a traditional Tee Connector. This type of connector works well for joining three peristaltic tubes with similar inner diameters together.
