With this Upchurch Scientific / IDEX Health & Science / Biotech Fluidics Stainless Steel Guard Column between the injection valve and column in your HPLC system, you can extend the life of your analytical column while helping ensure reproducible results. We engineered our guard column holder for high pressure applications (up to 4,000 psi / 276 bar). It has a biocompatible flow path and it is surface treated to prevent galling. It comes equipped with (2) F-200 fittings.

Insert one of these Upchurch Scientific® analytical guard columns between the injection valve and column of your HPLC system to extend the life of your column and help ensure reproducible results. Convenient, prepacked PEEK polymer cartridges complete the system and are available in a variety of bonded phases to match your column chemistry held in place by Titanium frits.

The C-270 Stainless Steel Guard Column Holder is engineered for high-pressure applications to 4,000 psi (276 bar). Each of these holders is surface treated to prevent galling*, a potential problem with threaded metal parts.

The flow path of the C-270 Guard Column Holder is biocompatible. Each comes complete with fittings for 1/16” OD tubing, and can be used with any of the C-28X or C-7XX guard column cartridges.

The simple design of the patented Quick Release Guard Cartridges and Streamline Cartridge Holder makes installing and changing guard columns quick and easy. Simply thread one end of the Direct Connect Adapter (included) into the end of your column and the other end into the C-600 Cartridge Holder. Insert a Quick Release Guard Cartridge into the holder. Then use the supplied F-130 Fingertight Fitting with your 1/16” OD tubing to create a Zero Dead Volume (ZDV) connection.

All hardware in contact with the mobile phase is constructed of 100% biocompatible PEEK polymer including the frits.
