This Upchurch Scientific / IDEX Health & Science / Biotech Fluidics NPT (National Pipe Thread) Adapter Body is specifically manufactured from PEEK making it durable and chemically resistant. This NPT Adapter is exceptionally useful for attaching 1/8" OD fluoropolymer sparging lines to sparging gas tank regulator valves. It's thread configuration is 1/8" NPT Male to 1/4-28 Flat-Bottom Female ports.

National Pipe Thread Adapters

These adapters make connections to female 1/8” and 1/4” National Pipe Thread (NPT) ports.

Manufactured from PEEK polymer, our NPT Adapters are durable and chemically resistant. We provide versions with either 1/4-28 or 5/16-24 flat-bottom threads, suitable for most low pressure applications..

U-500 and U-510 NPT Adapters are great for attaching 1/8” OD fluoropolymer sparging lines to sparging gas tank regulating valves. Simply thread the appropriatelysized NPT Adapter into the valve’s receiving port and then attach your sparging tubing
to the adapter body using the fittings provided.

Please Note: Wrap the threads on the NPT side of these adapters with thread seal tape (plumber’s tape) to ensure a leak-free seal.
