Waters MaxPeak Premier BEH Amide Column, 3.5 µm, VanGuard FIT Method Validation Kit 4.6 x 150 mm, 3/pk
Part Number: 186011015
The method validation kit (MVK) contains three columns each packed with a different lot of material. XBridge Premier BEH Amide Columns retain extremely polar compounds, including carbohydrates and sugars. Based on BEH technology, the XBridge Amide Columns offer a chemically stable, trifunctionally bonded amide phase that is stable from pH 2 to 11 to enable the separation of polar analytes that span a wide range of polarity, structural moiety and pKa. XBridge Premier 3.5 µm Columns enable exceptional separation performance, robustness and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption. XBridge Premier Columns use MaxPeak High Performance Surface hardware technology which significantly reduces unwanted analyte/surface interactions that can lead to poor peak shape and losses in signal intensity.
MaxPeak Premier Columns
See all of your sample with MaxPeak Premier Columns, the most universal column platform for chromatographers who need to reduce variability risks and save time, all while increasing recovery and sensitivity.
Non-specific adsorption (NSA) of metal sensitive compounds is an unpredictable challenge, leading to long column passivation times, chromatography with large relative standard deviations (RSDs), and broad peaks that can be a challenge to detect.
See and do more with MaxPeak Premier Columns, which utilize the latest progressive integrated technologies like MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) to effectively reduce non-specific adsorption (NSA) losses due to metal interactions.
With MaxPeak Premier Columns, your lab can reduce the time wasted on column passivation and method optimization, while increasing reproducibility, sensitivity, and overall quality of results.
BEH (Ethylene Bridged Hybrid) Technology
Ethylene Bridged Hybrid (BEH) particle technology ensures maximum column performance and longer column lifetimes under all chromatographic conditions. The hybrid particle technology offers many advantages over conventional silica-based particles, including the ability to control silanol activity for better reproducibility, peak shape, and efficiency. The BEH particle is created from two high purity monomers: tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and bis(triethoxysilyl) ethane (BTEE), which results in highly stable, pH resistant, and mechanically strong particles that set the performance standard for method development. BEH particle technology allows for seamless transfer from analytical to preparative separations.
The advantages of BEH columns include:
- Rugged hybrid organic/inorganic base particle
- Improved peak shape for bases-low silanol activity
- Wider operating pH range for method development flexibly
- Mechanical strength for maximum column efficiency at UHPLC operating pressures
- Available Particle Sizes: 1.7, 2.5, 3.5, 5, and 10 µm
- Column Chemistries: C18, C18 AX, Shield RP18, C8, Phenyl, Amide, Z-HILIC, HILIC
VanGuard Column Protection
Protect and prolong analytical column lifetime even under the best conditions, analytical LC columns deteriorate over time from chemical or particulate contamination. With VanGuard Column Protection products, you can now achieve maximum lifetime and performance from your columns.
VanGuard column products are optimized to protect and prolong analytical column lifetimes without compromising chromatographic performance. Available in a wide selection of particle sizes and stationary phases across HPLC, UHPLC, and UPLC, VanGuard Column Protection products are ideally suited for the physical and chemical protection of all Waters analytical columns.
- Remove particulates and chemical contamination found in samples and mobile phases
- Maintain separation resolution and efficiency by minimizing chromatographic peak dispersion and tailing with low dead volume design
- Eliminate leaks and voids by connecting directly to Waters UPLC, HPLC, and UHPLC columns
- Compatible with pressures up to 18,000 psi for UPLC and UHPLC columns
- Recommended Use: To extend LC column lifetime while maintaining chromatographic performance.
