The High Brightness Lamp is equipped with Intelligent Chip Technology which allows for the electronic recording of pertinent component information. This information is then viewable with the Empower® Software database and available for inclusion in a comprehensive status report. The chip holds information such as when the lamp was changed, updates in the lamp history file, it includes the lamp serial number, and the lamp usage hours and ignitions. All this data travels with the lamp so there is no more guess work or manual recordings necessary.
