Certified Sep-Pak Florisil Vac cartridges contain a very polar, highly active, weakly basic sorbent for the adsorption of low to moderately polar species from non-aqueous solutions. These cartridges are specifically designed for the adsorption of pesticides. Other applications include extraction of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in transformer oil. Certified Sep-Pak Florisil cartridges are quality controlled to ensure reproducible separations. The cartridges provide superior performance for ultra-low level analyte detection by reducing the potential for background interferences found in many SPE devices. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.
