It features a polar group as the endcapping reagent, with moderate carbon loading and low alkyl chain bonding density, offering moderate retention. Compared to XB-C18, it has a weaker ability to adsorb impurities. This column is ideal for the analysis of polar samples, such as water-soluble vitamins, amino acids, and other hydrophilic compounds.
