Welch Materials Ultisil HILIC Columns

Welch Materials' Ultisil HILIC columns are designed for hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography, separating highly polar compounds using high-organic mobile phases. Built on ultra-pure 99.999% spherical silica, they improve peak shape and provide excellent retention for sugars, peptides, and polar pharmaceuticals.

Ultisil HILIC Amide: An amide-bonded phase that offers superior lifetime and lower baseline drift compared to traditional amino (NH₂) columns. Ideal for carbohydrates and peptides.

Ultisil HILIC Amphion II: A zwitterionic phase that uses covalent bonding of both positive and negative functional groups for alternative selectivity.

Ultisil UHPLC HILIC: Packed with 1.8 μm particles capable of withstanding pressures up to 15,000 psi, allowing for ultra-fast and high-resolution separations. High-purity (>99.999%), ultra-pure spherical silica columns designed for separating highly hydrophilic and polar compounds.

Ultisil HILIC Silica: These columns are designed for separating strongly polar, water-soluble compounds. Built on ultra-pure, base-deactivated spherical silica, they offer excellent peak symmetry and reproducibility. They typically run at a pH range of 2.0 to 8.0 using mobile phases with greater than 80% organic content.
