It incorporates polar-embedded groups, allowing the alkyl phase to remain solvated even in highly aqueous mobile phases (up to 100% water) without hydrophobic collapse. It offers enhanced retention and selectivity for polar compounds.
Xtimate HPLC column derives its outstanding performance from a special hybrid partic le based technique, which coats a unique 5nm organic/inorganic polymer layer on the silica surface, so that the pH range is extended to 1.0-12.5.
