Ultisil F-C8 is a fluorinated C8 reversed-phase column, where fluorine atoms replace hydrogen atoms on the RP stationary phase, containing a total of 17 fluorine atoms. It exhibits distinct selectivity from conventional C8 alkyl columns, offering strong retention for halogenated compounds and unique selectivity for non-halogenated polar compounds. It is an ideal choice when peak shape and separation performance on standard C8 columns are unsatisfactory.
