Welch guard cartridges use the same packing materials as the analytical column to ensure the best analysis results. When HPLC column ID<4.0mm, it is recommended to use a 2.1×10mm cartridge, while when column ID≥4.0mm, a 4.6×10mm cartridge is recommended. 2.1×10mm cartridge holder: 00808-01107, 4.6×10mm cartridge holder: 00808-01101 or 00808-01108(direct connect).

Welch guard cartridges for analytical columns are sold in packs, each pack containing 2 pieces (1 unit = 1 pack = 2 pcs).

Ultisil XB-NH2 column is typically used for the separation of various monosaccharides under reversed-phase conditions. However, it is not recommended for analyzing compounds containing aldehyde or carbonyl groups, as well as reducing sugars.

Under normal-phase elution conditions, it is suitable for analyzing polar compounds, tocopherols, and certain organic compounds soluble in alkanes, alkenes, and aromatic hydrocarbons.
