The USP Monograph for Felodipine Extended-Release Tablets specifies use of a quadrangular stationary basket. The QLA Stationary Basket fully complies with the USP Monograph and provides the highest quality Stationary Basket available. Dissolution vessel covers for positioning the Basket at the specified position are available for most Dissolution Instruments.

The Stationary Basket method also offers a potential solution to problems associated with floating, sticking and swelling dosage forms. While the use of sinkers may solve similar problems, their final position in the dissolution vessel may vary, thus contributing to variations in test results. Suitability for these applications must be verified.
