Chiral crown ethers bonded to the surface of silica gel
- CHIRALPAK® CR-I(+) : (S)-18-crown-6 ether is bonded to the surface of silica gel
- CHIRALPAK® CR-I(-) : (R)-18-crown-6 ether is bonded to the surface of silica gel
In combination, the chiral filler is fixed on the silica gel. Professional separation of amino acids, amino alcohols, amines and other compounds with primary amines next to the chiral center. All HPLC solvents can be used! Typically an acidic mobile phase is used, such as aqueous perchloric acid at pH 1.0-2.0.
However, solvents with stronger eluting power can also be used as mobile phases, which greatly shortens the analysis time. The two chiral columns CHIRALPAK® CR-I(+) and CHIRALPAK® CR-I(-) can refer to each other, and the peak order of samples is reversed.
