This column can be used not only for SFC and normal-phase HPLC, but also for reverse-phase HPLC. Especially under SFC conditions, excellent peak shapes can be obtained even without the addition of acids and bases, and it can be used to separate a wide range of compounds.
DAICEL DCpak® P4VP uses a stationary phase in which Poly(4-Vinylpyridine) is bound to a silica gel carrier as a selector. Under SFC conditions, good peak shapes can be obtained even without the addition of acids and bases, and can be used for the separation of a wide range of compounds. In addition, this column can be used not only for SFC but also for HPLC.
The name of DAICEL DCpak® SFC-B has been changed to DAICEL DCpak® P4VP from production on or after March 1, 2018.
