DAICEL DCpak® PBT uses a stationary phase in which PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is coated on a silica gel carrier as a selector. It can be used to separate a wide range of compounds, mainly aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds. It is also suitable for separating compounds with different degrees of unsaturation and structural isomers. In addition, this column can be used not only for SFC but also for HPLC.
SFC and normal-phase HPLC can be used to separate a wide range of compounds with relatively low polarity, especially aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds. Suitable for separating compounds with different degrees of unsaturation and structural isomers.
The name of DAICEL DCpak® SFC-A has been changed to DAICEL DCpak® PBT from production on or after March 1, 2018.
