Dr. Maisch Exsil 100 ODS, 5µm, 100 Å, 10g bulk Material for HPLC Columns
Product Number: 5136528.0010
- 100 Å
- 0.52 cc/g
- 208 m2/g
- Type A Silica and Bonded Phases
- Alternative to Spherisorb
- Available in 1.5, 3, 5 and 10 μm particle sizes.
- Widest range of bonded phases.
The original Exsil 100 range was developed to provide an alternative to Spherisorb type products. The extensive range of bonded phases includes novel phases such as the ODS-B and Octyl-B which are so deactivated that they can chromatograph strong bases in buffer free eluents. The range of phases continues to provide a comprehensive selection for all standard applications.
These columns utilize an ODS (Octadecylsilyl) stationary phase, which is a type of reversed-phase column commonly used for separating a wide range of compounds. Exsil ODS columns are designed as alternatives to the classic spherical HPLC silicas like Spherisorb.
- ODS Stationary Phase: The columns contain an octadecylsilyl (C18) stationary phase, which is a type of reversed-phase packing material.
- Silica Base: Exsil columns are available with different silica bases (Exsil 80 and Exsil 100), offering variations in surface area and retention properties.
- Applications: Exsil ODS columns are suitable for a wide range of HPLC applications, including the separation of basic, acidic, and neutral compounds.
Exsil vs. Spherisorb: Exsil columns are designed as alternatives to Spherisorb columns, offering similar or improved performance in many cases. - Exsil 100: Columns with a pore size of 100 Å Angstroms (10 nm)
