Commercial Administrator / Bookeeper

The Commercial Administrator / Bookeeper will be responsible for providing day to day administrative support to the operations and sales / service team.

Accounts Duties

All the following duties are to be performed on Sage Line 50 and Sage 50 Payroll; you will need a thorough understanding of Sage Accounts, preferable AAT qualified.

·         Inputting/checking supplier invoices against purchase orders

·         Making supplier payments

·         Bank reconciliation

·         Banking (BACS) and inputting customers receipts

·         Invoicing

·         Taking credit card payments

·         Reconciliation of PayPal account

·         Quarterly VAT returns

·         Foreign payments

·         Month end procedures

·         Monthly Payroll for 10 employees

·         Preparing and processing journals

·         Provide Directors monthly cash flow forecast and profit and loss reports.

 

Administration Duties

·         Update ISO 9001-2008 quality system (training will be provided)

·         Filing and archiving

·         Maintaining quality records

·         Answering telephone

·         Maintaining day to day operations of the office

·         Keeping company vehicles records up to date

·         Providing support for goods in/out when necessary

·         Working with the service team, booking & logging service calls using CLIK service

 

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a small business administration or accounts role, strong communication skills and be IT literate.
