Product Number: 5136552
- 100 Å
- 0.52 cc/g
- 208 m2/g
- Type A Silica and Bonded Phases
- Alternative to Spherisorb
- Available in 1.5, 3, 5 and 10 μm particle sizes
- Widest range of bonded phases
The original Exsil 100 range was developed to provide an alternative to Spherisorb type products. The extensive range of bonded phases includes novel phases such as the ODS-B and Octyl-B which are so deactivated that they can chromatograph strong bases in buffer free eluents. The range of phases continues to provide a comprehensive selection for all standard applications.
These columns are known for their aromatic and moderate hydrophobic selectivity, making them suitable for separating a wide range of compounds, particularly aromatic hydrocarbons.
- Phenyl-hexyl phase: This type of stationary phase provides a unique selectivity, offering both aromatic and moderate hydrophobic interactions.
- Silica support: The phenyl-hexyl phase is chemically bonded to a silica support, which provides a stable and reproducible platform for chromatography.
- Applications: Exsil Phenyl-HL columns are used for separating a variety of compounds, including aromatic hydrocarbons, steroids, and other analytes with aromatic or hydrophobic characteristics.
- Exsil 100: Columns with a pore size of 100 Å Angstroms (10 nm)
