Inertsil

Inertsil columns were developed by GL Sciences in 1986 for sample separations using high-performance liquid chromatography. Starting with Inertsil ODS, a new type of bonded silica was produced providing unmatched performance and reproducibility. Further refinements of evolved silica and the introduction of new phases have allowed Inertsil to achieve industry leading performance for analyte separation to become one of the most highly used columns for HPLC.

Features

Reversed phase Columns (C18 Column) - Inertsil ODS-3 Analytical Columns

Inertsil ODS-3 is still GL Sciences’ most popular phase and continues to be used world widely and reliably for long established methods in pharmaceutical, and contract research labs. Inertsil ODS-3 has a relatively strong retentivity compared to commercially available ODS columns. In addition, the introduction of higher surface area silica provide high preparative loading capacity without sacrificing peak shape.

Guard Columns

Guard Columns for UHPLC are high pressure (80 MPa) guard columns that can be used to protect particulate-packed columns during high-speed analysis. Cartridge-type guard columns with replaceable contents. are available. Tubing is pre-fixed on the column connection side of the holder in order to minimize dead volume. If you want to minimize the volume of the guard column in high-throughput analysis, a guard column for UHPLC with an inner diameter of 1.5 mm is also effective.

Guard column for UHPLC significantly extends column lifetime of your analytical column. The replacement cartridge guard column can be exchanged easily. A 1/16 inch tube is connected at the outlet of the holder for easy installation with minimized dead volume.

The tube size at the holder is 1/16 inch O.D. × 0.18 mm I.D. × 30 mm length
