PerkinElmer Quasar SPP Columns

SPP HPLC and UHPLC Columns

Superficially Porous Particle (SPP) columns produce sharper peaks and faster separation results. These results are possible due to their breakthrough particle design and size. SPP columns use particles comprising a thin outer shell of porous silica fused to a solid inner core. This advanced design allows for a shorter diffusion path, reducing the time solute molecules spend inside the particles while passing through the stationary phase.
