Small Quartz Dilatometer Kit. Permits the determination of volumetric changes of materials as a function of temperature. The accessory is useful for materials whose linear coefficient of expansion cannot be easily determined by the expansion probe. The dilatometer is useful for determining the volume change of materials upon melting, or upon cooling from a melt. A typical application would be the determination of shrinkage from a mold. 0.1 mL capacity to be used with the 15 mm diameter furnace.
