Mastro2™ Series
Because of its innovative column hardware design, Mastro2 series column is less prone to metal chelate formation than a typical metal free column, as well as less likely to deform the polymer part inside the column, which is a problem with typical metal free columns. It is therefore less prone to problems compared to other typical metal free columns. A typical C18 column, a typical metal free C18 column and Mastro2 C18 column were compared for ATP analysis. Along with increase peak response, the resulting CV shows very little variation in peak area with Mastro2 C18. In addition, since the peak shape was also improved, the S/N ratio was large and the detection sensitivity was also improved.
The Mastro2 column has a biocompatible PEEK-lined stainless steel body with a high pressure polymer frit. This inertness eliminates adsorption and reduces tailing for compounds that tend to form chelates with metal surfaces, especially those containing phosphate groups. Maximum operating pressure is 50MPa/500 bar/7200 psi. pH: 2 - 7.5. Maximum temperature is 80C (pH 3 or higher.)
