Description

The phenyl-hexyl phase provides alternate selectivity compared to traditional C18 or C8 alkyl phases. The retention mechanism includes pi-pi interactions with the phenyl ring and hydrophobic interaction with the C6 linker, and is suitable for the analysis of isomers, structural analogs, and polar compounds that have limited retention on a C8 or C18 phase.
