This Upchurch Scientific, IDEX Health & Science, Biotech Fluidics Micro Filter Frit is for use specifically with smaller size filters used throughout HPLC systems. Our frit comes encased in a natural color PEEK polymer ring for enhanced performance and proper sealing. It offers excellent uniform porosity and a long filtration life.

Precolumn MicroFilters

  • Direct connects to columns with 10-32 threads
  • Total void volume of 0.5 μL
  • Two versions: direct connect 1/16” OD tubing or use MicroTight® tubing sleeves for 70–520 μm OD capillary tubing

The Precolumn MicroFilters directly connect into your microbore or analytical column. Total theoretical void volume is only 0.5 μL (includes frit volume) and the PEEK tubing used in the assembly of these units has a 0.005” (125 μm) ID, virtually eliminating any mixing of the sample with the mobile phase.
