Waters CORTECS Premier Columns

Solid-core columns that live up to their potential.
Your lab needs to develop methods for challenging separations even faster. Increase resolution for even your toughest samples with the enhanced column efficiency of CORTECS solid-core columns, which provide the flexibility and power you need to rapidly separate a wide array of compounds.
CORTECS Columns are available in reversed-phase and HILIC options across seven column chemistries with different particle characteristics and innovative charged surface modifications for 20% faster separations* and 25% more resolution at low operating back pressures.
Speed. Sensitivity. Resolution. Confidence. You can have it all.
If you love solid-core particles and want to eliminate doubt from your chromatography, CORTECS Premier Columns combine your favourite solid-core particle with MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) Technology. Solid-core particles provide increased column efficiency at low backpressures when compared to fully-porous particles of equivalent sizes, and MaxPeak HPS Technology mitigates unwanted interactions between analytes and metal ions found within typical stainless-steel columns.
The convenient and efficient combination of these two technologies in one column family provides users with reliable data for all analytes at higher throughput. Ideal for both small molecule and biomolecule LC-MS analysis. CORTECS Premier Columns are available in a broad range of chemistries and in three particles sizes: the CORTECS Premier 1.6 µm Columns for maximum UPLC separation performance, the CORTECS Premier 2.7 µm Columns for rapid analytical UHPLC separations, and now CORTECS Premier 5 µm Columns for superior HPLC performance.
- Maximize efficiency with superior data quality using high-performance solid-core CORTECS Columns that utilize MaxPeak HPS Technology
- Mitigate unwanted analyte/surface interactions that may lead to poor peak shapes
- Achieve higher throughput analysis over fully-porous particle columns
- Achieve simple and seamless transfer with consistent results across different particle sizes and column configurations
- Benefit from flexible methods development with three reversed-phase chemistries
- Recommended Use: For reliable high throughput analysis of all your analytes on any LC system.
