XSelect Premier Columns
Maximize selectivity with problem-solving technologies for a wide range of analytes
Get the best injection to injection reproducibility in your chromatographic separations with Waters XSelect Premier 2.5 µm and 3.5 µm Columns, which utilize MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) Technology. Ideal for the wide range of analytes encountered in method development, XSelect Premier Columns combine modern particle technologies and ligands with the protection of MaxPeak HPS Technology.
Designed to maximize selectivity, XSelect Premier Columns are built on one of two innovative base particle technologies, Charged Surface Hybrid (CSH) and High Strength Silica (HSS). The integration of MaxPeak HPS allows you to recover more and achieve balanced, controlled interactions between your analytes, mobile phase, and the column for the highest performance chromatographic separations.
Particle Stability with MaxPeak HPS Protection
Working at the extremes of temperature and pH while maximizing analyte peak shape is a significant challenge for methods development scientists. Now, with XBridge Premier 2.5 µm and 3.5 µm Columns, it doesn’t have to be.
XBridge Premier Columns prevent undesired analyte/surface interactions through the power of MaxPeak HPS Technology, which is designed to increase analyte recovery, sensitivity, and reproducibility by minimizing analyte/surface interactions that can lead to sample losses.
XBridge Premier Columns are the evolution of Waters XBridge XP (eXtended Performance) columns and XBridge HPLC columns, and they combine the industry-leading column stability of Ethylene Bridged Hybrid (BEH) particles with MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) Technology.
Protein Columns
Protein Analyses and Lab Scale Purifications
The development and successful commercialization of protein-based biopharmaceuticals and diagnostic reagents frequently depends on the ability to adequately characterize these complex biomolecules. Waters columns and methods can help solve your protein separation and characterization challenges.
Waters technology utilizes reversed-phase, ion-exchange, hydrophilic-interaction, and size-exclusion chromatography modes for peptide separation applications such as the analysis and purification of synthetic peptides, the characterization of complex proteolytic digests, and bioanalysis. These orthogonal separation techniques help provide the critical characterization data and isolated material required to produce the next generation drug.
SEC Columns
Size-based separations of peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, LNPs, and viral vectors
Get unmatched batch-to-batch reproducibility with the wide range of Waters Size-Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) Columns and standards for protein and peptide characterization.
SEC is a powerful technique for aggregate and fragment analysis in the research, development, and manufacturing of biotherapeutic proteins, such as insulin and monoclonal antibodies (mAb). With SEC, also known as gel filtration, you can separate proteins based on their size (hydrodynamic radii versus absolute molecular weight) in solution, with larger sized species eluting before smaller proteins.
The pore size and volume of the SEC particles used in the packed column drives this isocratic based technique, so the column you choose matters. As the molecular weight of the proteins of interest increases, SEC columns with comparatively larger pore size particles are selected.
