• HR plates contain a highly refined (HR) cellulose.

Silica Gel HR is made with a higher purity silica gel and a different binder system than the regular silica plates use.

These plastic-backed TLC sheets are made with a different polymeric binder system than the standard flexible-backed silica gel sheets (cat# P158017 & P159017) and will therefore exhibit different separation characteristics.
