- Burner chambers constructed of, or coated with, inert, wettable plastic to allow for proper drainage of excess sample and to prevent burner memory of previous analyses
- Multivaried flow spoilers remove large sample droplets from the nebulized spray and reduce susceptibility to analytical interference
