RSpak DM-614

  • The standard eluent is a mixture of water, buffers or aqueous solutions of different salts, and organic solvents of any ratio.
  • Buffers such as phosphate, acetate, tris-HCI and aqueous solutions of salts such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium sulfate can be used up to 0.5 M.
  •  A mixture of water and acetonitrile, methanol or ethanol of any ratio is usable. Nonpolar organic solvents such as n-hexane, benzene and chloroform cannot be used as the eluent.
  • Suitable for the analysis of amino acids and water-soluble vitamins
  • pH range from 2 to 10
  • Fulfills USP L39 requirements (polyhydroxymethacrylate particles)

Cleaning/Regeneration

  • Insoluble components that block the column inlet may be removed by reversing the flow direction, i.e., introducing the eluent from the column outlet, with flow rate at less than half of the recommended flow rate.
  • Follow below cleaning steps for adsorbing components. For an efficient cleaning, reverse the flow direction. Method: Set the flow rate at 0.3 ml/min, and introduce 50 ml of methanol, acetonitrile or water
