The 50mL Tube in 55x Rack Domino is specifically designed to hold a very large format rack capable of holding up to 55 tubes (Cytiva: PN 28980319, sold separately). This Domino is a 3x2 format Domino. As of such, it takes a total of 3 positions horizontally and 2 positions vertically on the Andrew+ robot workbench, equivalent to the space taken by 6 standard Dominos. Dominos are machine-readable consumable holders that create the interface between a variety of different consumable types and the Andrew+ pipetting robot to enable seamless automation of many different laboratory workflows. Equipped with QR codes housing critical labware information and ARUCO codes for spatial positioning, Dominos are an indispensable part of any Andrew+ automation configuration.
